About Scott
Pastor Scott Dunford, currently serving as the Lead Pastor, brings over two decades of rich experience in vocational ministry to the Western Hills Church community. His journey in ministry has spanned various vital roles, including dedicated service in local church leadership, ministry training, and extensive involvement in overseas missions, reflecting a deep commitment to spreading the Gospel and nurturing Christian discipleship both locally and globally. His leadership at Western Hills Church embodies a blend of local pastoral care and global mission vision, underpinning the church's commitment to faith, community, and outreach among all the nations.
Hailing from Wisconsin, Pastor Scott carries with him a fondness for cheese and for his Green Bay Packers However, he and his family have warmly embraced the Bay Area as their beloved adopted home. The Dunford family is a vibrant tapestry of love and faith, including Scott's wife Tara and their four children: Halee (married to Noah) Carroll, Basil, Augustine, and Caedmon, alongside the joyous addition of a wonderful baby granddaughter.
Pastor Scott Dunford is not only recognized for his pastoral leadership but also for his active role in the broader Christian missionary community. He is a well-respected voice in missions, often invited to speak and write on related topics, thereby enriching the church and mission field with his insights and experience. His contributions extend to the digital sphere as well, where he serves as the co-host of The Missions Podcast, a platform where discussions on mission work and theology are brought to the forefront.
About Carl
Carl Conrad serves as a Pastoral Assistant at Western Hills Church, where he is committed to supporting the ministry of the church and caring for its people. With a heart for worship, discipleship, and teaching, he seeks to help others grow in their relationship with Christ and become more deeply rooted in God’s Word.
Carl brings years of experience in church ministry, particularly in worship leadership and music. He has served in a variety of church settings, leading congregations in worship, directing choirs, and supporting the life of the church through music and media. His passion is to see the church worship God faithfully and wholeheartedly.
He holds a Master of Divinity in Worship Leadership and has received extensive training in both theology and music. Carl is especially passionate about equipping others for ministry and fostering a church culture centered on Christ, community, and meaningful worship.
Carl and his wife, Sarah, are grateful to be part of the Western Hills Church community and are excited to serve and grow alongside it.
